| Go to the audio end of canal street, alot of DJ stores over there. I hear uncle steves in good, just remember to bargain with them, don't take the shelf price. |

and on most dj shops in nyc, there all israelis, so if u c a mezuza on the door, just speak hebrew and be a good jew, BARGAIN!!
theres also a few shops on 6th and 7th avenue between 34th ant 38th
alot of israelis! (personal experience) |

eh i wouldn't deal with any of the audio shops on canal st. lots have reps of selling you merch that is re-boxed and not so good. plus they overcharge.
i've heard stories of how they put a diff. faceplate or cover on something to make it look like a better brand. i would buy my stuff online, really. |

Check out Sam Ash music. They have a best price promsie... Take their best price and then go to a bunch of other shops and bargin, Make sure you can return the product if there is a problem or ask to test it first before buying. Use a bunch of stores against each other. For instance you walk into one shop and tell them some other shop (use the name of it) said this price, then ask if they can beat it.
I've saved hundreds of dollars by doing this, if the price isn't low enough, go somewhere else, someone will want the sale. The ticket price is usually 50% higher than what they paid for it... so anything over 50% is profit. Also ask for the store owner if the clerk won't negotiate the prices. |

| Yes, I would like to stop by NYC on the way back from Boston ( i live in DC, and we aint got crap here). I would like to check out some shops for vinyl. Im looking mostly for trance, but also breaks are on my list too ( im starting to spin alot of both now). So any info would be great. |
