:eyes: :eek: Kant. (I still have Critique of pure reason on my bookshelf @ home) Only remembr a bit of it. Woooot. I love an analogy a prof of mine gave in lecture once of a fishnet representing our limit of understanding. Was REALLY interesting.

Beh, I got Leviathan if you wanna borrow. Don't like Hobbes that much. You should really try Marx's Communist Manifesto (I know, I'm being cliche :eek: )
Yeah, Kant is wicked, he's my favourite for sure. Too bad I never pursued philosophy. World history took me over for a while too :p |

D, cool thanks that'd be awsome about Leviathan, but maybe I can borrow it when you get back from europe? I've already got so many books to read lol!! :thepirate I keep thinking that I should read everything around Marx's Manifesto and leave it till the end until i'm good and ready, odd eh? I'm a bit of a philosophy nut, metaphysics and all that. History is great too but a focus of post WW2 history is a little more exciting to me.:nervous: |

Hey we forgot about the CHIN picnic this weekend!!
From June 28th to July 1st, the International CHIN Picnic will be the place to be. More than 2,000 performers will entertain an expected 250,000 visitors at this year's event at Exhibition Place.
For the children there is a circus, play area, midway rides and games. Adults can shop at an international bazaar in the Better Living Centre. In addition to a beer garden, food from around the world will be available from dozens of food concessions set up around the picnic. Of course, the Mr. and Miss CHIN Bikini Contest is always a picnic favourite.
To get there on the TTC, take the 511 Bathurst Streetcar service from Bathurst Station or the Southbound Dufferin bus from the Wilson or Dufferin Stations. |
