That made me sad, especially to see people who just wanted some coffee, or an apple, or ice-cream. Some people even wanted justice, mercy and world peace.

yep they honor just about any request as long as its not to far out there.one man requested potted soil and plant roots.after a quick disscusion over the matter they gave him what he wanted.what was it gonna do kill him?he was going to the chair!

I think most of the time when someone is raping and strangling a woman to death, they are also thinking about the complex issues of world peace in the global community. ;)
I agree though that if even one innocent person is murdered by the state, it's one too many. DNA technology has vindicated dozens (yes dozens) of those wrongly convicted in recent times. That means there have been many innocent put to death. The death penalty is ironically enough supported by those fun-lovin' Christian fanatics who oppose abortion on the grounds that it's "murder." They are everything that is wrong with this country. If they would just go away, this country would be perfect IMO. :D |
