I have 2x pc3200 crucial ddr 256mb sticks running at dual rate on my p4p800 mobo and are these sticks OCable? They have no heatspreaders on them and i was wondering if it was possible to give them better timings? The default is set to 2.5 (cas), 4 (ras# precharge), 4 (ras# to cas# delay), 8 (precharge delay), 8 (burst length)
aka 2.5-4-4-8-8
Is it possible to give them the most aggresive timings possible and still be able to run my system stable?
Was thinking 2-2-2-6-8 |

| AFAIK, Crucial blows at OCing. Go into your BIOS settings and try, see if it runs stable. I'll post your question on abother comp geek messageboard I frequent to make sure I'm right... |

OCZ RAM sucks, no offense. But if you're not OCing, then I guess it doesn't matter that much.
I'm building mine the next few days. I'll post pics when I'm done.

24X Plextor CD-RW drive | If you don't care about the budget, at least get the 9500 pro. The 9600 pro was made to be cheaper, not faster.
9500 pro > 9600 pro
On the other hand you could get the 9500 non pro, and OC it to 9700 PRO speeds !!!! proof |

It's definitely possible. It will either work or it won't.... Overclocking is just like that :) |
