Does anyone like this guy? I love him, I listen to the "Mushroom Jazz" compilations all the time. Can anyone recommend anyone like him?
On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, I just heard "Heaven Scent" in the promo for some MTV spiderman show. Wierd. |

I love Mark Farina...altho personally I think only Mushroom Jazz vol II is the only one that is stellar. The rest are ok, but nothing to go crazy over.
His single 'Radio' is one of my favorite house tracks of last year. Its so quirky while being smooth and funky.
I've also heard his "Connect" comp. is really good, but I haven't heard it. |

| I have Connected at home,a good compilation,tho it gets slightly dull at times.He's a very talented guy though,no question about that.Also,check out his rework of Beloved - The Sunrising,absolute bliss. |

| I like the San Francisco Sessions by him. Very oceanic sounding :) If you are in your back yard on a hammock, listen to it with your eyes closed and you can imagine yourself at the ocean. |

| mark farina is a chicago native, though he moved to sanfransisco. before he used to be a really funky disco-house dj along with the chicago house dj lineup including derrick carter. i dont really like this chilled out house. too boring. i like hard pumping disco house like olav basoski! that man is a genius. |

yeah, he's a really good dj judging from from his comps. the kinda stuff you could blaze up to. really chill stuff.
and yeah. the reason you heard 'heaven scent' on that spider man commercial is because digweed is doing the soundtrack for the show, apparently. |
