| Has anybody seen this movie yet? I just saw it today and was surprised at how good it was. Brilliant movie, lots of plot twists and excellent directing. I gotta say, best British filmed movie I've seen yet. ;) |

yeah just saw it,
O M G :)
a rare gem that dares to be innovative, on my scary movies hall of fame right up there with the ring
not only great directing, but a great story of courage and of human beings acting at their most moronic idiotic level and also at their best |

yes, i watched it a couple of weeks ago, and im a big norror fan, and a bit of a critic too, and i enhoted it, a great movie to put english movies on the mapo. not too gory (which is usually what i like).... good story line, and the all important scare factor :)
do you guys in yankeeland have 'dog soldiers' yet? or did that come out ages ago?, imo another top notch english horror flick, check it out :) |

Didn't liked it all. Characters are never deeped out, Converations are unreal, Army Camp guys are nuts, bad filming.

i agree with you on some points, i dont quite get what you mean by, the conversations are unreal , and the filming most definately isnt bad, thats how they intended it, if you see the special features on the DVD :)
the characters ARNT deeped out enough, but the reason for this is, whats there to deepen out?..... its an epidemic, no-one has no family left, so theres no point in adding sumthing about any backgrounds of the characters because it cant in no way help in the disaster that they have to overcome

Well, when I'm in a situation like that, I would like to know as many as possible from other human beings about the epidemy. It just goes too natural, that chick never explains anything to him and he nearly doesn't ask anything. Some story as with the old man and daughter.
And a theatre-movie shouldn't depend on DVD xtra's, they're no use for the visitor.
I see this movie as a B-film, sorry guys |

| I watched this at the cinema when it came out, i loved it. It wasnt what I was expecting but I still thought it was ace. I agree that some things were a bit unexplained, but the filming was ace, it was supposed to be like that....:conf: |
