If you were a famous DJ, what would you do differently then everyone else?

I think I would try to be more unpredictable, as in throw the crowd a lot of stuff they wouldn't expect. For an example, my transitions would come when least expected, and instead of buliding up, I would sometimes just open with a big explosion.

| I would make every club I played at use some sort of brief litmus test so that all my true fans got into the club first and for cheaper, and then the rest of the tools could wait in line |

| Good thread. For me I'd play upfront new / promo stuff. I'd play out all the great new artists and underground stuff. I'd play tracks that most other DJ's dont play. I'd play different genres of electronic music (trance, prog, breaks, dnb). I wouldnt just mix, I'd add my own effects to some tracks live to spiff em up. I'd play different acapellas on different instrumentals or combine tracks. And like your idea I'd be unpredictable, you'd never know what I would play or do to the track live, my playlist would always be different. Y'know, just stuff to make my show much more different and interesting compared to all the other formulaic DJ's who hammer the same tracks all the time. |

get famous, blablabla, and then go home and make these deep undergound parties for my friends, like,50 ppl, and then invite all the other big stars to come there, and just play WHAT THE YOU WANT!

| id have huge build ups then BAM! let it go and make the crowd go wild and have really cool things in the club light foam and lasers and and and and lolol and then id play some pretty mint tunes people dont know about like George hales -kyoto(mk-s mix) and then get it released!!!! :happy2: |
