so what if he likes it, if he happens to like something you don't like ing deal with it cuz people have different tastes, haven't you realized this already especially on TA where everyone seems to have personal preferences and stuff...and i don't even like Iris either...you're not the one to tell other people what songs are cheese and what songs are good...its not like your own opinion will change their minds

dude calm down... #1, music appeals to people on a very personal level. i have heard some of your own productions, i think a couple of em are pretty good. now if someone did not like a song of yours for one reason or another, how would you like it if they called it cheese or dumb hype.
fact is, people do like this track... you may not. why cant you just state that you dont instead of insulting those that do? if it matters to you that your mix of the eternal was played by pvd in miami, consider the fact that pvd seems to really like iris.
my opion is that its not the best song ever..at the same time it has some pluses, and i would like to hear it live. surely, i dont mind listening to it and would never trash someone who said they liked it even if i didnt. nobody needs to bother starting a list of tracks that others who think they know music better than others are into that people might find ty.
music is love, love is personal. everyone needs to chill out. |

first of im not excited about paul paying my mix, hardly at all i dont really see it as a big deal.. someone that does is defintly starfox
second i havent been a big fan of pauls since he started playing crap like this.. and dont tell me that every set and every track he plays is top notch because hes capable of playing majorly cheesy crap ie anything by nu nrg haha
third i dont really care what people think about my music, as long as i dont rush anything and do a great job! im not gonna spend a day on a track and release it only because my name is well known and its gonna get hyped to the point that people are going to believe thats its unbelievable. I think someone is starting to sell out |

well congrats- if youre making music to your own personal satisfaction, great...respectable. forget the pvd thing....i would be hyped if he played my track only because he's my favorite dj and i respect him. though i must say i like many nu nrg tracks... i wonder why you wouldnt agree that butterfly or their remix of carrera are not awesome. but to be consistent, its alright that you don't. anyhow, the purpose of my comment was to say that people are all entitled to opinions, it would be nice if others were respectful of this. in a nutshell, don't talk about someone because you think the song "iris" sucks and others think it rocks. music is personal, period. i think it doesnt suck, i think its good. i also would not say it rocks.
now if youre gonna say i dont know good music, im not gonna bother replying. i have a very keen ear and am no newbie to electronic music, i have been listening to it for 7 yrs. not that long, but long enough to know what im talking about.
bottomline is its a personal thing, just like anything else considered art --

some people are starting to get some attitude, but well.
This track ain't too awesome indeed, but it's nice and I like it a lot. It'd suit perfect as a build-up track for a beginning of a set. 7.5/10 for me. |
