Hi, I really like the idea of being able to spin harder to find tracks or singles that I might not be able to find on vinyl which is why I'm looking into a CD Deck. Also, I've experienced a Pioneer CDJ-1000 first hand and it was amazing... Right now, I think I only wanna get 1 but what would be a good starter deck for under $200? Ooh, another sales pitch oppertunity for DJ_Tranz lol

I'd say, the CDJ100s from pioneer... Very decent equipment for 425€... If you go under that, you won't have any decent stuff, allthough, the Gemini CDJ20 for 249€, but, I prefer the CDJ100s

You are eventually gonna have to buy a better cd deck later on. So its better to buy the best deck out there when you buy your stuff. That way you will save money.

Yeah the CDJ-100S does look pretty nice, I bet I could find one for around $200. Trust me, I wish I had a $1000 for a CDJ-1000 and not have to worry about getting another deck but right now it would just be for me to mess around with and I'm trying to save for a car at the moment...vinyl addiction doesn't help :(

from what i have seen the cdj100's have the same build quality as the cdj1000's just none of the cool features. so a good idea to go for them. if you go for other brands, you might get more features, but you won't be going with the industry standard as it stands now, and may have other problems.

Hehehe, good starter CD deck hmmm:
Numark Axis 2 reg. USD $199.95 each, your price USD $179.95 each.
That's the only one I'd recommend. Should you find your budget a bit larger than go for the Pioneer CDJ100S USD reg. $399.95 your price is USD $329.95
Cheers... |
