ok guys, friend is on a tight budget, and this mixer seems to be
decent, looks good, and has two switchable channels, and a very
affordable price... what do you guys think?
BEHRINGER PRO DJ MIXER VMX-100
We designed the VMX100 for those of you who need a compact, straight-ahead DJ mixer but don’t want to sacrifice either important performance features or audio quality. To that end, even our smallest VMX is equipped with our automatic, intelligent BPM counter with Tempo Difference and Time Offset displays plus Sync Lock and Beat Assist functions, as well as our new dual-rail ULTRAGLIDE crossfader with a 2-way curve control switch. The VMX100 offers two dual-input stereo channels for connection of up to four stereo sources, selectable on the top panel. A basic ULN mic input with level control is also provided. Each stereo channel sports a great-sounding 2-band kill EQ with 32 dB of attenuation and a 45-mm ULTRAGLIDE fader. The PFL section features a CH-1/CH-2 balance control, while the main section is equipped with a dual 10-segment LED level meter, which displays your choice of main or PFL signals, as well as stereo main mix and tape outputs.

| It's not a bad mixer... but, why not spend 50$ more on the vmx200? of 75$ more on the vmx300...? You'll regret you didn't in a few months. The vmx300 is everything you need... for only 75$ more... |

| Well the main thing that kept me away from the VMX100 was that each channel only had 2 EQs, while the VMX200 has 3 per channel, so you can do high, mid, and low EQ adjustments. Also you get a few more nice features regarding headphone cueing. The VMX200 is also relatively cheap and a bargain considering the quality you get for the price. |

I agree... the 100 is good but the 200 is much much better, if he cant afford the xtra $50 then he should save up until he can. |

| I would definitely say that you should save up and get the VMX200. and if you need a 3rd channel get the VXM300. The 200 is a great mixer. I got it 2 weeks ago, just did a gig with it, worked like a charm. BPM counter isnt the greatest thing, then again i dont reakky use it anyway. I got mine off of www.pssl.com, very smooth purchase, not one problem with it.:toocool: |
