Sasha - Xpander on commercial for MTV Spiderman

I was watching MTV last night when i saw a commercial for Spiderman the new TV show....
Well in the backround i heard Sasha - Xpander... Maybe MTV is paying more attention to electronic music now. What do you guys think about Sasha and Spidey together lol. |

yeah. i saw something like this a couple weeks or months back
fischerspooner - emerge was playing in the background on a vh1 commercial, which really pissed me off because, fischerspooner says no to gabriel & dresden on the release of their remix of the 15th, but they let vh1 put their song in a commercial!!!! money grubbin bastards!!! :( |

I don't think its too significant, electronic music seems to get used as background music a lot on TV. Unless they start playing good electronic music videos I won't be conviced they're paying it attention.
Over in England we have MTV Dance (which sucks most of the time) so I guess its different in the US regarding electronic music :)
edit I think I said "electronic music" too much :stongue: |

| It's known though that Fischerspooner are pretty commercial. Digweed however isn't known to be that commercial but either way, people just want money. |

John Digweed is doing the music for the series so it doesn't surprise me :rolleyes: I posted an article about this like a year ago, seems as if many of you have forgotten already...

yea i remember them showin mtv dance here in the states last yr usually on fri nights from 1-3in the morn so if i ain t go out cause of$$ id be rite there in front of the tv catchin tunes an recordin vids

Notice how it's always backround music. Trance will never be at the forefront on MTV/VH1 simply because the main demographic listens to (rap/hip hop/angsty rock/pop).
If I ever want to listen to trance, I just turn to the Dish Network "Hot Hits" channel (956). I turned to it on a whim last Sunday and they were playing Three Drives - Greece 2000. |
