| Has anybody else become overwhelmed with things to do in this city?? I mean come on we've had pride week, Doors Open Toronto, The Jazz Festival, Canada Day Events, The Chin Picnic, The upcoming blues fest, Toronto Street Festival, The Molson Indy, numerous concerts and international DJ's. I dont know about you but for a SARS affected city, I'm livin it up. What have other people been up to or what do you plan on doing??? |

Yeah from now until labour day there are events galore. The greatest thing about TO is that it is such a diverse city that no matter what you want to experiance you can.
For instance, this very weekend if you are African or interested in tribal sounds, african rythms, and diverse arts crafts and amazing food come down to Queen's Park on July 5th and 6th (Saturday and Sunday). The event is free and is called AfroFest and it is truely an amazing event with a great vibe. Featuring local and international acts... ranging in Burundi drumming sessions to Congalese Soukous to West African Griots.
And maybe if ya come by after 8 or so I'll hook ya up with some free beer!! ;)
