Hey guys, why haven't i seen anything about this? there's no better way to celebrate the 4th than clubbing the night before... since noone has to work then anyways.
Well, I'm gonna be there celebrating my birthday (the 3rd) there with a few friends... drop by and say hi if you're going... wohoo. i'll finally be 21 and able to go clubbing more...

I'm sooo doomed. I really wanted to see Richie / Sven the last 14 times they've been through. I might try and head off for this .. Although I think i should perhaps be awake for one of the days of this weekend :)

We'll see if I can make this :)
but for those who can, GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Richie rocks ....

I'm thinking about going down to Taste Fest tomorrow. We get Clark Warner from noon-2, Mathew Dear from 2-4, Magda from 2-6, and Richie from 6-10! All for FREEEEEE!!!!!!:D :D

So Richie will get a nice warmup for you guys in Chicago!! :)

i just found out that richie hawtins is from windsor, this guy i go to summer school with plays tennis with his younger brother, thats pretty weird, having such a big name from this city, and yet such a small scene,

well, the show was pretty solid; actually it was more of what i was expecitng... i wasn't blown away, but it was interesting to see him do a lap top set for the first 2 hrs. once he started using some vinyl, i actually liked the set more... overall though, there was something missing... i think i've been spoiled by too many pvd shows... but, nonetheless, i had an awesome night.

CAW, are you gonna be able to post the pictures anytime soon :D ?

cheers,
radu

Hey Ayman he lives on Walker road right next to the VIA rail station, Its an old fire station, if you see a silver BMW in the driveway that is his! He also goes to Platos Blend down on Wyndotte alot also, pretty cool eh?

Yeah unfortunately I didn't make it down. I shall now shoot myself for not making a free Hawtin show :whip: :whip:
It was the same day as the HOB. Tastefest is at the New Detroit Center on the corner of W Grand Blvd. and Woodward.
