Justin McFerran - Go Home, clip inside
View this Thread in Original format

I've been working on this for a few weeks now, it's at a point where i'm almost done and i've made a clip for you people to listen to and give opinions of.

It's not Trance, there are no big synth riffs or Arp riffs or anything like that - it's a NuSkool breaks style tune with a big vocal sample :)

I'd like you to download the sample and give me some feedback as to where you think this could go.

Right Click, and save target Cheers for your support :D

Surely somebody is going to even look inside the thread at least? :nervous:

Hey bro.. i really dig that techish synth what kinda synth is that how did you make it? i can seem to get that haha i deno why.. anyway.. it sounds very cool.. i think you should change the vocal.. and go for a techish something or another i dont really care for it... (you see the movie swordfish.. sounds like a techish song from that movie) anyway let me know about that synth!

I made the acid style synth in ReBirth, exported the loop, and loaded it up into ReCycle to make a rex loop so i could use it in reason, the original loop doesn't sound much like how it sounds in the track - i messed it up with HiPass filter and and a lot of reverb, and used the Mod wheel a lot on the DrRex player in reason :D

Not seen Swordfish, or heard the soundtracl - i'll check them out though :)

About the vocal - it's the one i've had my heart set on even before i started the track - i don't want to change it :whip: ;)

:stongue: This is easily one of the best/most original & well produced tracks on these forums.

This particular forum is way too cliquey!
Project T

sounds very cool
really like the percussion, sounds like you got some reversed stuff in there heh.
the acid synth is nice
only thing i would comment on, is maybe make the snare more punchy, make it stand out abit more to make it easier to get with the groove heh
