glog...lol. Just shut the up. Seriously. "There were ugly people" ? I don't consider myself ugly, or my boyfriend ugly, or many/most/all of the people on this board to be ugly, and we were there.
So you insult the crowd, you've insulted us. Please do not continue to wonder what our problem is with your review. |
word to that!
taraxo
PS i figured out who you were after we left the club, would have liked to have met you |

Datar's 'B' perhaps? I know that track has those lyrics in it, but those lyrics are also very generic, so it could be something else easily. |

It was layered underneath the Pumpkins' track... You prolly would not have know that that's what it was while it was being played, even if you were there :D |

I think you are quite a bit off base here.
No good looking people? Ridiculous. Maybe just not your type. Don't take on a hegemonous opinion here. Just because something or someone is 'not your type' (whether your type is the fake-tit/cookie-cutter wardrobe/valley-girl sort of ginas that can be found @ plastique, remains to be seen), doen't make them unattractive. AND, I'd go so far as to say that there were a LOT of attractive people @ System that night. And many, as you can see, share in that opinion.
No good times? Not as good an event as your lovely big-ass corporate parties? Make a reasonable comparison here please. This was a far more intimate setting, which, when someone is the least bit socially inclined, can often prove to be a far bettah event anyway. Remember, to the larger extent, you make your own evening. If things aren't so fun, let loose a little, talk to people, dance a bit, get fookin' hammered if all else fails. I'd have taken Hernan in a limited capacity VIP room setting over the mainroom any day.
Miss Charmscars' point about 'teenagers' is quite valid. Most of us hate those 'perfect situations' that you speak of, and hate them for reasons that you will understand one day.
I am from the Waterloo area. I work with a Vesna. Could be a different one though. Who knows.
And regarding the TA dj's, and your slagging, I think you need to pay better attention to what's going on. You seem to be making ignorant comments here. For example. Stopping and starting tracks; I heard none of this, unless perhaps @ the beginning of someone's set. Can't remember if this happened, but it's possible. Secondly, know what you're talking about before you slag the talent. There were at least two technically solid acts, and I'm not including ours (as I have no right to make that evaluation). And I don't mean to sound egotistical, but have a look @ Vagrant's tracklisting. Tiesto, in his wildest dreams, wouldn't even think to attempt some of the layered mixes there. The level of difficulty is beyond Tiesto, or at least beyond what you'll ever hear him play. Again, know what you're talking about before you make ignorant comments. |
