Hm, those are even cheaper than the ones they were selling in grocery stores and such. Why is that?
I'm still debating on whether or not I should go to this... Any other TA's giving this event some thought?

this show is definately a go! even if you hate all of this kind of music... 400,000 people is something u just go to see because of the crowd... it's something thats being done to support toronto and it's somewhere where you can really get a taste of what being a torontonian is all about
not to mention the little fact that... the stones, ACDC, justin timberlake, the guess who.... are going to be there... last time i checked stones tickets alone were 100$ (if you could find any)
it's going to be a fun filled day with good old rock and roll (i'm still not sure why justin is there... at least he'll keep some of the old people away...)
i have my tickets already, and a buddies gf lives right accross the street from the park... so free stay for me :)
oh, and if anyone sees someone trying to scam there... it'll probably be me... i mean... 400,000 people? even if 1 in 100 people give you only a dollar... thats still 4000$ for a day of scamming :) not bad |

i honestly dont like the stones...the only band out of these i wanna catch is AC/DC but meh..not THAT interested...

I have 2 tickets and I can't go... :whip:
I'd love to go, and since they've added Rush, now I'm pissed!!!! :mad:
Basically I'm going to B.C. for my sister's wedding and won't be back in time...
At least for those going, it'll be a super event for sure...:gsmile: |

I'm definitely going to this. Last I heard, the grand total of tickets sold is going to be 800,000. I don't necessarily like all the bands/groups **cough justin cough **.
Another rumour going around the grape vine is that the organizers are in the process of trying to secure rock legend, U2. Now how cool does that sound.
If anybody wants to hook up and go together, send me a PM. I plan on heading over around 5:30 as I have to work until 5. With my luck, justin will be the opening act and I will miss him. Anyway gimme a shout |
