I need a chiropractor

Three weeks ago I did a stupid stunt that injured my neck. I'm still sore till this day and am not sleeping all too comfortable. Today I realized my shoulder are slightly uneven, one lower than the other. I firmly believe my posture isn't right :( Anyway was wondering if any TOTA out there can give an excellent referral to any chiropractor out there. I'm willing to travel all over the GTA. Furthermore would like some input as what to look for and what to advoid. Thanks. Much appreciated.

My buddy's a chiropractor. Good guy. Parties too. His number is 416 8036337. He does house calls if necessary.

Unfortunately, I can't recommend anyone you should go to, but I do recommend that you stay away from Oakville chiro.'s. :tongue3 I have enough reasons, many of which I've witnessed myself, as to why you shouldn't go to a select few.

I really don't think that's the case. They go through training and education similar to that of a doctor or surgeon, for example. Also, chiropractic fees can be worked into health plans, so I think the gov't is alright with it.

David Koiviranta @ the Kulhay Wellness Centre, St. Clair & Yonge.

No, my chiropractic rocks... Michael Rodney @ Madison Centre, Yonge & Sheppard. This guy treats a whole bunch of people from Extreme Fitness too, and he's a freakin' champ. He'll get you fixed in no time!

Not really true. But I think you might be alluding to the fact that there is a sort of rivalry between chiropractics and medicine because Chiros consider themselves a holistic practice and some people in the medical field think chiros are hoakey and they don't have enough solid evidence to say that chiropractics actually works. Most (if not all) chiropractics is not covered under the provincial health plan. Each to their own, for many people chiropractics works and for others it doesn't. I've never been so I can't say what it's like..never had private health insurance.
