| Anyone see Oakenfold at the Hollywood Bowl this past sun.? He was awesome! Great set with a lot of recent tracks like Solarstone's "Release" and even old skool tracks like Skipraiders' "Another Day". Oakie also featured a couple artists last night such as Grant Lee Phillips, Carmen Rizzo, and Dierdre Dubois. I haven't seen Oakenfold spin in such a long time and give this performance 2 thumbs up. The music was great, the environment was great, and the crowd was great. |

Wow!!! Definitely a great atmosphere to be in. The crowd was simply amazing. I met so many people from England and overheard quite a number of English accents surrounding me. So many beautiful girls. *drools* Truely a night I'll never forget. With a seating capacity of 18,000 I'd say about 10,000 showed up. I'm kinda glad it wasn't too crowded. The crowd filled in nicely and Oakenfold along with the rest of the crew put on a performance of a lifetime. This is one event that I'll never forget. I'd like to add a few tracks that Oakie played that night, the ones that stood out for me.

| I was there too! it was a great concert, but can anyone answer my question? I hope this isn't a repeat or anything (im new to the forum) so i apologize in advance if this is a dumb question, but who is the girl that he used in his visual media? I know he filmed the video in 2001 but I'm curious as to who she is... anybody know? it was funny watching all the guys stare at her :D |

| a couple other tracks I recognized were 'Dirty Sticky Floors' (quality track IMO), 'Starry Eyed Surprise', and some Justin Timerlake remix. He played a few too many tracks from the "Bunkka" album for my taste (I think that album is horrid), but all in all a great show and a fun crowd. Can't beat the $5 seats!!!!!!! |
