if you use math to calculate the area of the individual pieces you will find that the area add's up to 32 units total.
but, judging from the full diagram, the area should be 32.5 units.
so there is 0.5 units missing.
i assume its the question mark? is the 'empty' 0.5units.
i think you can also use methods of integration with this... just can't be bothered to think about it! |
