Listening to Tiesto 4th of July After Party mix at Space 34 and all I can say is :eyes: :eyespop: . This has to be the number one DJ in the world best live mix of the year! Tracks selections was excellent and the mixing was top notch!!! What do you guys think??

Tracklist was great, a little different than the usual Tiesto style but mixing was pretty bad...........one of the worst "mix" i've heard from Tiesto |

| Seriously...Tiesto did a bad job mixing that night. Markus did an awesome job though. The stupid freaking horns were killing me that night (Not only the usual horns at Space...but the train horns...JEEZUS). |

well I ain't a DJ but IMO I thought the mixing was flawless...correct me if I am wrong. Where is the mess up or bad transition?
As for Markus, he was awesome too. His sets definitely up there with Tiesto. |

The more I learn about mixing and judging it, the more Tiesto's mixes suck :(
On the other hand, Armin just keeps sounding better and better with every listen.
Flawless mixing = Sander Kleinenberg, Danny Howells, and Sasha... and PVD, AVB, and Ferry Corsten for trance. |

lol i would say none of the big name trance djs ever consistently are good.
tiesto is 99% of the time, to the guy who said listen to them studio albums + magik 6 they will have all been rehearsed many many times + his last mix is off cue on summerbreeze. his mix was also gash @ tietso in concert
armin seems only to be able to have the ability to beatmatch to within 1-2% of what it needs to be rather than spot on
don't get me started on pvd
and ferry s up every time he touches a cd
we listen to them for their tunes, if anybody listens to them for their mixin they need to think about getting new ears lol ;) |

| must agree with luke here, i used to think tiesto and pvd were amazing wen i first got into the scene, i still very mucch enjoy there sets but its vary rare either of them make a perfect transsition. and for the money they get paid they should be mixing flawlessly always without having to think. |
