Right, I have no idea why this happens, but sometimes when I go to save, the zip doesn't save and i don't see the save progress bar, I can save as everything else tho so my work isn't lost, just pisses me right off coz i keep my samples organised in different parts of the HDD which means the flp wont seek them. any ideas ?
oh yea, its 3.56 and i use XP |

mmm, hav used 3.56 on XP for much time and it never happened.
U should check for:
- corrupted files, reistall fruity and your zip-codecs
- do usual HD checking stuff, like defrag and scandisk (with a full surface exam)
- your windows may be overloaded with memory resident programs that aways mess things up when they are many. Get a registry cleaning program.
Other than that, no ideias...
As far as the samples, why dont u add your samples folders on the browser? Theres no limit on the number of additional folders u can add. |

| I dunno if this will help, but the reason I myself couldn't use fruitzips for such a long time was that I had more than 1 sample with the same name... Like I'd use 2 different kicks, but each of them would have the name "kick.wav"... In that case fruity didn't like them and I'd never even get my Zip started.... Once I renamed the offending duplicate to kick#2.wav or something it starteed working. |

| it only seems to do it at times, my new tune doesn't do it at all, but the previous one did, no sample names are the same, i reakon it's a bug or summat. |
