Hello everybody,
I have a question about soundcards.
I recently bought a master keyboard, evolution mk 249 ,and i want to use it in combination with reason.
What is a good soundcard for a good price (maximum 75-100 euro, second hand is no problem) because i heard that i need a asio soundcard for a low latency. What exactly is asio?
What is a good option in this priceclass?and it doesnt have to be supersoundcard, just for the use of reason and a low latency?

Well ASIO stands for Audio Signal In/Out. You don't really need asio drivers for reason. Mainly for sequencers like Cubase and Logic.
M-Audio make good cards but they are probably out of your price range. I don't think you'll get anything impressive for that much. 100 euros is like 125us dollars isn't it. There's not much around for that price.
Second hand, you could have a look for someting like a delta 44 considering you don't need midi. |
