Course that doesn't change the fact that it's bad for your lungs.

Good news! I'm ok then......man I used to smoke too much pot.

:toothless :haha:

I think it's more than "a little" bit of memory loss though...at least for me it was.

I find that myself and others have slight short term memory problems during periods that we smoke a lot. After not smoking though for a week or so these problems seem to dissapear. Weed is not a very dangerous drug (if you care to even consider it a drug). If you smoke during teenage years when your body can take it, it's not going to harm you much at all. There have however people that I've met that have smoked for 15 years or so...these people have noticable problems. Only a small percentage of people continue smoking through their adult years though.

woohoo..this is only more evidence to back up what i have known for a long time. i've been smoking pot for 5 years, pretty heavily for the past 3 years. and since i started smoking more and more my grades have actually gone up in my classes and i have no more of probelem learning as i did in high school when i was not smoking. and since i smoke only high quality sinsemilla buds there's not much smoke to up my lungs. pot is really no where near as bad as most people think. people precieve its bad because its lllegal and the only reason its illegal is because people percieve it as bad.

does anybody get the irony in the quote at the bottom of my sig?

hooray! those idiots are finally starting to learn that weed isnt half as bad as all those chemicals they put in cigarettes.

I think all governments have known about the contents of this study for a long time, but for years the good ol' boys in politics have resisted legalizing it because of the negative stigma attached to weed in past generations. However, the more we learn about the horrible damage cigarettes in particular, but also alcohol, two legal substances, cause to our bodies, the harder it is to concretely define why pot is illegal. Compare the death & crime tolls between those influenced by booze and those who've smoked a joint, and you'll find that alcohol is a far more dangerous "drug". Soon all you'll get in Canada is a ticket for having less than 15 grams of weed. In Amsterdam it's been legal for years, and they haven't regressed to uncivalized choas & disorder. I think that it is more likely marijuana will be legal in 50 years than cigarettes. And if our society wasn't filled w/so many addicts, alcohol would have been made illegal a long time ago.

Just a thought(or maybe a collection of them)...:D
