some of the songs mentioned are not sad at all! :rolleyes:

also if you post say a few tracks, it makes it seems TRULY sad than just mentioning a load of tracks that are semi sad

Yeah!!! Someone mentions Morcheeba!!! The 'Big Calm' album released in 1998 is probably the best collection of sad songs. I still love that album after so many years.

If you want some Portishead type sad songs, I wholeheartedly recommend you a British band called Babyfox. They are very unknown, and I think they only released 2 albums so far. I can't remember the title of the first one, but the second one is called 'Dum Dum baby'. The music is even more sad than Portishead, can you imagine it??? If you think Portishead - All Mine, or Portishead - Over are sad, then listen to Babyfox...then you know Portishead isn't sad!
