Rapid Eye - Stealing Beauty release = Mono

I'm quite shocked that no one's actually mentioned the fact that this release is MONO! I didn't realize it because I wasn't really paying attention to it but the tracks always sounded "dull" for some reason, till I opened them up in Sound Forge. Both of the mixes that were on the promo are mono.
This is probably why it sounded so average to most. |

| I know what the rules say, you dont have to preach them to me. I just find it highly irregular that they would "rip" something in mono unless the source was mono. So does anybody here actually have the vinyl and can confirm this? |

| The vinyl was OK, just the original rip was in mono, which was then replaced by the same group with a stereo version the following day. |

it has been done before :p
remember tiesto revolution MixCd which was RECORDED in mono? hehe they found out about it when the cds were already pressed :D |

| The first release of Tiesto's album had a few tracks in mono, so it's not something that hasn't been done before. |

The vinyl I have, sounds exactly the same. Even the pour sound quality on the kid vicious mix! :{
