| hey all...just wanted to make sure if the blending of lyrics from one song and the instrumentals of another is considered synergy...and if it's not called synergy then what is it called?...plus could anyone tell me where i could find synergy's and also acapella's..thanks for your help...jp |

Yep synergy is the mix of two songs into a new one. Usually synergy sucks, but there are some songs that are actually better then the original.

Watergate vs J-Lo - Waiting for tonight in Asia
You might be able to find some synergy on homeofmusic.com. Acapella is very hard to find. I got some through napster, but since that sucks lately, I have no clue where you could get it. |

Darude vs One Phat Diva - In and out of the Sandstorm is a great example of a synergy track
I agree with Dwingo and that is most synergy's suck but that one is a great combination of vocals from one track and music from another combined and turned out to be better than both the originals .

| I'm unsure on Synergy's. Sometimes they are so poorly produced or the two tracks don't even work, and I wonder why some people bother to make them at all! I guess a couple are ok though. |

that track sux well IMHO it does lol
the vocals dont match the music in so many places for starters
the vocals drown out the music too lol
they had to speed up the pitch for the vocals to fit in as it is lol
this is a classic example of a BAD synergy in my veiw
i Played it once and am now suffering it again to confirm my veiws on it lol
Wicked Red Deleted this one off her hard drive after only listening to half of it lol
Sorry Ravemonkey repsect to your veiws and all that but i hate that track lol

Yeah, that is a really good song. It's on my favorites list right now actually. That Watergate vs. Jennifer Lopez song isn't half bad either :) |

first off, i think wicked neo needs to relax...shane54 made a good remix of Martin Gore's "in a manner of speaking"...and i think that the collaboration of "touch me" and "give me the words" is really good merely because of the new sound that is created using good vocals on a really good song...i mean isn't that the purpose of synergy???...trying to find a new sound that is better than the original seperate two??...| quote: | they had to speed up the pitch for the vocals to fit in as it is lol

another thing, shane 54 already sped the vocals up...the synergy of the two just uses the shane 54 version of that martin gore song...perhaps wicked neo shouldn't IMHO without knowing everything that is needed to be known...if it were just a matter of not liking the song WITHOUT criticizing the song, then your opinion might be considered..but passing judgement and criticizing music without all the facts is not really impressionable...sorry wicked neo, thats just my opinion...jp |

| jpark, if you're just looking for the names of some more synergies (like 50 or so), go to www.djshop.de click the red man to enter the shop and then go to "special news". There's a lot of synergies there...but it will be hard to find most of them on the net. |
