| I was thinking about that stanton too as second choice. They are rated fairly good, but I heard from someone that they started to crack in several places after 6 months. They cost about 80-90 € and I know a place where I can get the HDJ-1000 for 120€ so I'm gonna go for the hdj (but only in a few months). Nevertheless I think that this stanton is a good choice (but haven't tried it myself) |

I think these Stantons are the ones Tiesto has been using for over a year.............I think he switches to Pioneers now
So if Tiesto can use these at all these loud enviroment/parites for over a year.........they shouldn't sound too bad |

I've had a pair for a year now.. No complaints.. I've played on some HUGE systems, and haven't had a single problem..
However, the only downside is that they're not comfortable for people with funny-shaped heads.. I DJ back to back with another guy from time to time, and his head is really funny, so they're not comfortable for him... :D
Design-wise they're great though.. |
