Any suggestions regarding effects processors?

Once my turntables are paid off, I'm giving some consideration to buying an effects box, and then a CDJ at some point.

Any suggestions? I suppose that I may also consider getting the Behringer DJX-700 mixer (as it has built-in effects). The Behringer mixer is $419 CND (provided that doesn't change before release), and the AirFX box ALONE is $325.

yea iv also been thinking about getting a effector next so i dont really know about those but i have a berhinger mixer (the 200) and my school has like a vmx-1000 or something ( am on vacation so i cant look) anyways yea behringer makes great mixers even without the effects so u might want to go for that. As for the cdj i would go for the psx its brand new so not many people have tried it but i LOVE it lates

It's all about bang for the buck. I figure it's dumb to pay $325 for an effects box, when I can instead pay $420 for the mixer.

Apparently they have one of these FX boxes set-up at my local music store, so I will check it out and report back.

Go for it man. Though i just looked up on the behringer site and it seems that the mixer has less effects then the box but then again your also getting the mixer... like you said bang for buck want more bang in a effector you should probly go for the all box but if you just want to livein it up a bit go for the mixer that way you get a great mixer and effects
