a while ago, I asked this question and now I'm asking it again :D
I'm planning to buy speakers for my laptop... recommendations please :) (for mp3s, movies etc. maybe I'll use them with my TT's)
I heard good things about klipsch 5.1 and logitech z-680s but since I do not have a good sound card (I'm using a laptop) I'm wondering if they would make a difference...
(I can afford up to 400-500 $ at most)
Thanks ;) |

| i got hte z680 for 240, nice improvement over the z640s. even at 1/3 volume and bass, it is LOUD and i can feel the objects vibrate upstairs. great for games, movies and trance. i got it from dell for 240. Newegg is about ~270-290 |

Hmm nice speakers w/o a nice soundcard. You can hear the quality of your integrated soundcard much better with your expensive speakers rather than cheap speakers. LOL I'm j/k dude. :toothless
I know for sure that having a better soundcard would help but I guess getting good speakers is all you can do since you own a laptop. The 2 you mentioned are my best bets for comp speakers. |

have a good home stereo?
get a ycable and connect your stereo to your laptop.
save's you some dough and its the best way to rock out on your computer (depending on what speaker/stereo system you have) |
