was the offbeat bassline sample from the record? it sounds crackled and lo-fi.
the main comments are: the bassline needs to be louder/punchier in the mix, it's all top-end synths and vocal.
and the vocal is very loud in the mix, needs to come down a little.
we seem to have come a stumbling block here as well, you have the main riff lifted from the original track just come in, but then you add a bassline to it which isn't in the right key - sounds really wrong. you need to adjust the pitch slightly on it to get it right.
keep working on it. |

i'm sorry, i didnt really like this...good attempt, but the way u used the vocals was one of the things i didnt like. the melody is really good IMO either...the beat is a bit on the weak side. not much drivin this tune...keep it up though, it has the potential to be great:)
