This is a group out Sweden. I did a search and a few mentions in the Swedish forums, but I don't speak the language.
Hard to describe the sound, but I felt it was the epitome of mainstream of Trance (which is weird cause mainstream usually means really popular). They're like Astral Projection but instead of the funky, trippy sounds AP sometimes did Masada is just all hard-hitting fat beats.
They were on MP3.com but not anymore, and if you every played Rocket Arena for Quake 3, they had two really great tracks on the soundtrack. After they closed their MP3.com site I haven't heard much about them at all. If you know something at all, please post!
They released like 4 albums and all had terrible distribution so very few people know of them. Their best album was Oceanic. I recommend "Dancing Dot" and "Experienced" of that album.
I used StreamRipper and pulled all 65 tracks they had on MP3.com. You might be able to find a few of these on Kazaa, but I can hook you up with a FTP account to the whole collection. AIM, ICQ or PM me. |
