food matters a bit, but I think the most important factor for better, longer period of drunken revelry is the amount of sleep you have had over the past few days.
If I've been having ty nites I tend to just have a few and chill, but if I've been sleeping like a god (hehe its summer so I am allowed to!!) then I find its a lot easier to last longer...
my 2 cents |

If you drink just right, keep you head spinning but don't over do it you can drink almost as loong as you want.. just eat during the drink-race.
But imo you feel alot better without drinking at all.. :clown: |

| I drink a little and just for taste. alcohol! This should be illigal, because it's just as harmful as any other drug, if not more. I hate drunk people who in' step on your shoes, not even saying sorry and when they get pulled over and get DUI's, I laugh. |

| Alcohol is fine. I rep 220, curl 45s, run 30 miles a week, and play tennis 3 hours a day. I also rock climb on the weekends my best outdoor being a 5.13a, swim, and bike. Im pretty much the healthiest/most fit person I know, and people always ask what my diet is. Chicken teryaki and beer baby. As long as you work your ass off you can do anything, eat anything. Live life to its fullest :) |

Best thing to do is to take a break and eat something and (here's the important thing) when you do so, drink water.. or maybe gatorade of something that will really replenish you. The biggest problem with drinking for long periods is dehydration, so when you take a break the best thing to do is to really concentrate on refilling your fluids. Just because you piss a lot while drinking doesn't mean you're getting the liquids you need. Not to mention then you'll be fuller and will naturally drink slower when you start back up. Also it's good to get a really good tasting beer that you don't want to finish all at once, so you sip it more instead of gulping down the whole thing in 10 minutes. Drink for flavor, not for ed-uppedness.
(Too bad I rarely take my own advice.. heh) |

| I used to (before I did it) hate it. Id turn in my brother and sister for it, and i would give people about it. I was very hadrcore about the deal. Now its one of the mainstays in my life. Socially, physically, and mentally. Havin some drinks after dinner makes for such a relaxing evening. I can honestly say that drinking is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. I wouldnt discount one of the oldest inventions on earth :) |
