So, finally, my first 100% self-produced tune, Re:charge. Loads of inspiration from Mesh and similar artists.

Loads of thanks to my best buddie Jezper (aka Airbase), which helped me trough with this tune, thanks bud.

Enjoy

Very good tune I must say.
However, what really disturbed me is that the whole tune just reeks of Jezper's productions. You really need to develop your own style instead of sounding like someone else.

But hey - it's your first production by yourself... I must say it's loads better than my first self made track :)

Edit:
The hihat sounds strangely lofi, btw - what's up with that?

ahh.. thought i recognised the name when i saw it.. hehe :p

sounds really good as mystery said, but it kinda sound like jezpers track's... nothing wrong with that really but.. any way ;)

and yeah... what's with that hihat???

really pumpin tune. how much did Airbase help u?:p i loved the melody although the bassline that oozes through the song is tooooo much of an Airbase style. not neccarily a bad thing:p really an amazin tune for your first, but i gotta agree with the guys above me, that hihat just seems out of place. other thatn that, this is a tight tune:D

Thanks people, allot of nice feedback, I'm amazed ... =)

The only "help" Jezper gave me was that he listened to the tune and gave me feedback. He never touched the reason-file ... =) Same thing goes for me, i listen to all pre-airbase-stuff. And i don't really consider me to be co-producer on all his tunes ... :D

Anyhow, thanks again, made me really happy to read those reply and thanks for the tip regarding the hi-hat. I'll have a look at it.

Well I read the comments on here and then had a listen and I must say it does not sound as much like Airbase as I thought it might. ;) Seriously, I can see how the bass line and kick sound similier to Airbase (though I suspect if you did not mention that you knew Jezper then people may not have said this stuff). I think the production is VERY good sounding my, only complaint would be that the melody does not do a whole lot for me. Anyway, my main reason for posting was to say I disagree with what the others have said about Airbase. I mean if you were using that same phat lead that he uses in most of Airbase productions and if the melody was more uplifting I could agree with people. As it is, great job.

yeah very good track,
some sounds remind of airbase ' stuff i agree, but the atmosphere of the track is quite different from what he does;
first production :wtf: can't wait to check the coming others !!

wow, this is your first track, goddamn. this is very good. Very solid track, keep up the good work :)

This is excellent, considering that this is your first tune, ever produced by yourself. SFX are good, and producing techniques are pretty professional - you have all the techniques of a producer who has at least 2 - 3 years experience, yet, there's something lacking in the melody - oh yeah - lower the hi-hat a bit, or change the actual sound.

I think this track isn't that bad at all. Not bad for your first track. 7/10. But I do think that your future work is gonna blow us ALL away! -Mental

thanks for all the nice feedback ... =)

I've been producing for quite some time now, mostly doing remixes for other artists. I guess the most know remix by me is the Pulse remix of Yahel - Voyage made back on 00. Can't understand why people seem to love it, ty production ... Oh well ... =)

Anyway, more music for me will be available later on.

Thanks again for listening.
