Promise Party Review

| Well after the party at Nat's house, a bunch of us (Nat, her roomate Dallas and her friend Tommy, Marcin, Az, and myself decided to go down to the promise party @ Cherry Beach. All I can say was that is was the end to a great weekend. We got there and chilled to the vibe of Reggae which shortly after blended into a nice funky house mix from Mike Gleeson, and a few other DJ's. We watched the sunset over the city skyline, listening to great music, talking, and having the occasional beer:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: Finally after the sun had set, the final DJ came on a played some drum and bass. This got the crowd moving which was good because it was getting a bit cold. Anyway thanks everybody for a great time, we'll have to do it again, and Az hope you can talk next time. My throat is killing me today |

I dont know how I pulled that one off with the weekend we had.... Oh yeah- cuz I'm SuperRaver! (oh, and RyanM is a force not to be reckoned with).
Wicked time. Wish I'd brought warmer clothes. Reggae: zzzzzzzzz....
Mike Gleason- AMAZING! Lee Osborne & that other guy were great too. A DnB dj named K2 closed out the nite, and while it is common knowledge how much I don't like DnB, this guy was rockin my world. Gonna buy his cd when it comes out real soon.
As & Marcine were the troopers for lasting from Ultra Spin 2 > the after party > the Promise party. RyanM- well, you're just insane.

Spawled out on a blanket and cherry beach, Beer in hand, Joint in the other Hand, and sweet chillen grooves in my ears. It was a perfect end to the weekend.
Reggae was amazing! Don't listen to Nat! Mike Gleeson house set also hit the spot with a few cool remixes of retro tunes from Paul Simon, REM, The Beetles... all were super cool. Chilled Groovy DnB from K2 ended it off in tandem with some pretty awesome Fire Poi dancers.
And most of all ya gotta love the Promise party vibe. Definetlly should try and hit up another Cherry Beach party this summer. But next time we bring more beer Ryan! And Dallas And Tommy should take that act on the road!!! |

More Beer, maybe if I have something to eat next time. It wasn't until I actually stood up that I realized how much I had consumed.
I agree, their little "tiff" in the car before we dropped him off was the funniest thing, I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time.

| i agree, it was a perfect way to end a weekend :) everybody was chillen at cheery beach, good vibe & music. The next day i was sleeping like i was in a coma lol :p |
