| Haha whats the difference? Is there? I fight thought remake was a change of the song by the original artist but that isnt true. Hence DJ Tiesto Magickal remakes. I think remake sounds the coolest. Remix and mix sounds too techno`e. |

mix... essentially the same song, except it's edited to make it shorter or longer or whatever.
remake.... i think this is where the original artist REdoes his own song over to make it better. Like push's Strage World.
remix... it's exactly what u think |

| I know Tiesto started the 'magikal remake' thing cuz he thought people were getting sick of 'remix' all the time. I hate seeing things like 'such and such's remix'. See like the full silence remix name is 'Delerium - Silence (DJ Tiesto In Search of Sunrise remix)...a lot better than just (DJ Tiesto remix) although a lot of people shorten it to that. |

Here is what I think
A mix is a slightly version of the original
A remix is a totally different version of the original normally completely changed by the remixer
A remake is a new version of a song normally by the artist |

Techincally speaking a 'mixes' of a track would be different mastered versions with the volume or eq levels set differently on the mixing desk.
Like so many things though, the term's definition has become blurred so as nowadays a mix is most commonly a different version of the song, yet still produced by the original producer.
A Remix I would say, is a version produced at a later date, either by the original producer or another person.
Remake is pretty much the same as a Remix IMO, just sounds cooler. :)
What about 'Reconstruction'? ;) |

| All of Quake's remixes appear as "Quake Remake" because it rhymes with Quake! |
