Trance and weather

I listen to trance every day on a train when I go to work. I find that some trance tunes sound better in a certain weather, than others. The other day it was raining, there were dark clouds all around, I was looking out of the window and listening to Yahel-Voyage, in my earphones. You wouldn't believe what strong emotions that tune evoked for me in that gray, rainy weather, especially when the lonely synth-line took off, a sound of both power and melancholy.
Then one sunny morning I listened to "Follow the Sun" (don't know the author, it goes like this: "feel the air in my wings... higher and higher... I'm flying like a bird"). The landscape I saw out of the window was lush tree-tops, the bright sun, and train stations quickly passing by. That was very cool!
Anybody had any similar experiences with trance, the weather, and the mood it creates? |

Well, as you can see, I live in a very hot, sunny, humid, tropical place... the beach and all, I listen to trance everysingle day!!!!! and yes, trance has its weather .. like, when on the summer, or driving by the beach, with the hear at like 100 degrees F( like 40 something celsius ) and ur with your friends ready to have fun.. with the windows open, tunes like Blank and Jones -- After love and cream , liquid childs diving faces, or gouryelle gouryella, fits sooo much with the sunny days...
when in sunset.. tunes like Salt tanks -- eugina 2000 , chicanes tunes fit very good.. is like saying good bye to the day and all.. well... Trance for me fits alot more on the SUMMER or HOT places, I enjoy it more or I dont know.. hehehehe..hence the place. |

Yea dude..I too listen to tunes on my headphones on train to and boat home from work...it starts my day and puts a nice finish on the end of a long day...its the only part of the commute that I enjoy...well on the way home i take a boat home..so I like that..its cool listening to some nice tunes while cruising on the ocean...:cool: |

| Sometimes I go in the forest when my and friends go camping and i listen to the sound of nature by mario lopez, such a kickass track when out in nature. |

| not only that but some songs fit best to certian times of the day. for example sitting outside just as the sun goes down (which is pretty late in the summer) and listening to aATB ft. York - fields of love'. or how about when you've been out all night and as the sun rises the song 'chicane - slatwater' comes on. powerful stuff. |

when it rains a kicking track to play is ayla - angelfalls, when its sunny another kickin track to play is baleric bill - desitination sunshine and when its dark and muggy out with thunderstorms another stomper that makes wanna get up n' dance is green martian - industry......well thats a combination of weather traxx lol. theres a load of others.
trance also stimulates moods. when im pissed i put on uplifting stuff into it makes me happy then i play some dark then i play some sad or i just put on a dj tiesto or paul van dyk set and let the trance take me to a journey far far away.
trance stimulates lots of moods. it has to be the only genre of music that does this and thats the reason why i love it.
trance r0xx my s0xx!~!!! i dun know what i would do without it :) |

| when the suns out i love blastin my trance so everyone can hear it. its a lot easier to play my music loud and enjoy it when its sunny out. |
