FREE Event in Battery Park! GOOOOO!!!

This will be the first ever Liberty Festivus. It is a free outdoor party thrown by the EMU(Electronic Music Umbrella).
The EMU is a not for profit organbization started by Alex Dunlop, Andy Z(Urban Promotions), Steve Groove(Urban Promotions) and Viktor Mizo(Tronic Treatment). This year the festival will be done on short notice so it will be a bit smaller, but in future years we hope to throw a major FREE Electronic Music Festival with major talent and sponsors. The EMU & Liberty Festivus will be supported by Urban Promotions, Tronic Treatment, Matter/Form, TribeTrix, Merge Nation, Eventvibe, Divine Force and Exit9 Design.
We hope you all can come out get some sun, dance on the grass, play some frisbee, just hang out and take in the weather and sounds.

To all our friends and patrons who have supported not only our party, but the general electronic dance music scene.
First ever - Liberty Festivus
Saturday, July 26th 2-9 pm (rain or shine)
FREE Event - $3 draft beers, $2 waters -Sold by NYC concenssions
Location: Battery Park, the tip of Manhattan
Most subways run to or near the park.
DJ's: Sean Cusick, Trendroid, Francis Harris, Tommie Sunshine and possibly others
Bring lounging type gear to sit on the grass, listen to some great tunes, soak up some sun, and have fun!
This signifies the launch of the EMU - Electronic Music Umbrella. The purpose of EMU is to promote and support all forms of electronic music: House, techno, electro, break beats, etc… We will host and sponsor music events open to the public. We will also serve as an umbrella group linking together a variety of artists, groups, and organizations that have an interest in supporting this music. As we grow, we will distribute a newsletter and have member’s privileges.
The dance community gives back... its all about good people and good times. |

lol.. it dont matter what board, i just didnt wanna get into it before, but its simple.. tiesto is a great producer\remixer, but a mediocre dj.. let me rephrase.. mediocre 'pro' dj that is.. :) |
