| it's not BT..it's the company that owns his album that is going after the punks via legal action. Since they own the rights to his album...they have complete freedom to take ppl to court if laws are broken. One of you complains....go out and buy the albums of the artists you like and support the ing scene. The scene has too many idiots who just download mp3's and do not go to clubs to see dj's or see liveacts or buy vinyl or cd's...you are the weakest link and should be shot. |

Bit torrent isn't watched, that's nearly impossible. Torrentse.cx was stupid enough to publish information on current torrents publicly.
Now I'm going to go read the SA thread. |

yeah last year...somone broke into his studio and raided the place.

| Exactly - this has very little to do with BT, other than it just happened to be his album. |

how can you make that assumption, unless of course you met him or talked with them, then that is different |

He didnt just have equipment stolen, but they stole all his master tape recordings so all the work he had done on his new album at the time was lost. |

sometimes i feel i was the only one who BOUGHT PVD's Politics of Dancing, even when it was leaked a month before it's official release...
some girl in the MTV scene is releasing her music for free off the internet. I believe the Smashing Pumpkins did this too, only to become international superstars with record selling album "meloncholy and the infinite sadness" (great album btw). Same with Red Hot Chili Peppers latest album. it was for free on their website, every single track. it's not like they are going bankrupt from their whole album being fully released and distributed at their own will |
