What do you guys think?
Sometimes they can sound really sweet but get a little overpowering/annoying after a while , i cant decide whether to use one or not in my current work in progress
DJ Chrono
usually they sound really good. sometimes they dont.

it really depends on the melody and the synth used.

I always use a subtle arpeg playing in the backround, so I like em. :)

Newb Question of the day: Whats an apreggios? :o
Project T
i agree with robstar, it's nice to have a subtle one, i normally use one in the bass somewhere, but not as a main feature

Get the arpeg to play a different scale then the melody and you usally get very nice harmony's. And create a filter curve to make the apreg sound more alive.

hmm... great tip.. will try it right away :)
hey cheggy
I love using them for uplifting style trance. Open up the amp decay and release to join em together, then for a breakdown or whatever, bring the release back to less than 10 slowly and listen to the individual notes start to break up. Can sound really cool sometimes

I love doing this. Really changes the mood of the song. Also, chaging the filter can sound really cool.
