What do you guys think?
Sometimes they can sound really sweet but get a little overpowering/annoying after a while , i cant decide whether to use one or not in my current work in progress |

usually they sound really good. sometimes they dont.
it really depends on the melody and the synth used. |

I always use a subtle arpeg playing in the backround, so I like em. :) |

i agree with robstar, it's nice to have a subtle one, i normally use one in the bass somewhere, but not as a main feature |

Get the arpeg to play a different scale then the melody and you usally get very nice harmony's. And create a filter curve to make the apreg sound more alive. |

I love using them for uplifting style trance. Open up the amp decay and release to join em together, then for a breakdown or whatever, bring the release back to less than 10 slowly and listen to the individual notes start to break up. Can sound really cool sometimes |

I love doing this. Really changes the mood of the song. Also, chaging the filter can sound really cool. |
