hmmmm
well its between 3 really...being Geo, Mike (MK-S) & Mart...
Probably gonna have to go with Mart, his remixes are so unique and never just carbon copies of the original with a few tweaks.
Madonna - Frozen
Jano Acta - Fluent Fiction
Icone - Meriva
OrganiK - NightShifter
are just a few of his really original remixes I have loved. |

also....like haak himself pointed out, why have so many people gone for him?
hes not exactly the most productive of remixers.....best producer maybe....but not remixer :S |

Who here listened to Thomas Datt's remix for the Eternal, and No More Rain - I'm pretty curious, cuz I don't think a lot of people here have. If you heard Heaven's Caliber, that also counts as his remix. NE Wayz, just lettin you guys know - later. -Mental |
I did.....didn't like either really. Tho 'I Feel You' is great.
For TA's remixes of 'The Eternal' it has to be the Aspiration mix all the time......really original and so powerful. |

I voted Echano...but I didn't really notice it was for top REMIXER...e...i never heard any of his remixes.
Oh well, if they're as good as his other 3 I've heard then I still pick Echano.

Some sentences without the word 'original' would be nice every now and then mate ;)
I didn't find the Aspiration mix was original, it IS good though I think. There are so many carbon copies already out there, I hardly think this is worth babbling about. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it different too.
Still, this is far too difficult for me to comment about... choosing whoever is best is too relative. |

Maybe its because theres so many 'wannabe'producers who are just copying what ferry & lange did in 99...and doing it badly.
Its difficult to find new 'original' ;) artists, and I respect the artists who have their own style, like Mart for example, hes not all about the big riffs that have been done to death.
I'd say the aspiration wix was completely different to all the other mixes...its everything the other mixes werent, datt got lots of 'big ups' for his mix of the eternal, when it was basically the same as any other remix.
Maybe I'm sick of people getting all the hype because they are copying tiesto's bassline so well or making synths that sound like ferry's......WELL DONE YOU@VE CHANGED THE WORLD..
errm no ;) |
