very interesting track with a vibe that im liking :) sort of the vibe u get from one of m.i.k.e's more sinister tracks.
the chord changes are a bit unorthodox, they sound a bit weird on the first change, but then ur mind gets used to it and they sound very cool :) i think the synth u use for the bassline needs adding to, i think a synth with more hi-end in it would pick it up a bit and help make the bassline stand out a bit.
when the main melody kicks in, ing wicked stuff. i love that melody.
after the breakdown i think u need to insert some perc to give it more of a feeling that its going for it (if that makes sense). its such a shame u just fade it out at the end.. u better make a real ending :p
i think u need to concentrate on ur mastering too, it sounds a little muffled and unclear as it is. play around with the eq's of the channels and make sure one part (as in lo, midrange + hi) is not too crowded.. but u said its in its early stages so i will let u off :p;)
keep working on it, its very promising :) |

i like this lots!!
it's very refreshing to hear a trance track that has a good melody and bass without resorting to the usual arpeggio's.
some parts are sounding a little crowded - especially the parts just before the main melody starts. you might want to see what would be causing conflict with eachover and maybe adjust the EQing so they don't clash :)
Brilliant though, and yes - you need an outro, just a few bars of a beat to be able to mix out of this well :) |

I really like what you've done here - its sounding good!
My only criticism is that I think the main melody sounds a lil 'sloppy'.. like there are too many notes, or you hit the same note too many times. Maybe taking out a few notes, and having some fun with delay would do the trick!
