| I was listening to this on my laptop speakers and was thinking "this is fairly boring, what's the deal?".... then I put on my headphones and heard what everyone is getting excited about :) I'm not sure that I dig the instrument you chose to play the melody on, but it's a decent tune anyways. Sorry that I can't get as excited as the other folks, but it just doesn't hit the spot for me for some reason. Not quite sure what it is, so I'm sorry that I can't really offer any advice. I think you might want to be more playful with the drums, the breakbeat gets rather repetitive when you don't vary it for so many minutes.... |

As opposed to the usual 4 to the floor drumbeats of normal trance tracks that sound the same for the entirity of the track?
Its a sÚbeR track.
Don't change a thing.
WTF ! |

| Cool track, but I'm afraid it just doesn't do it for me :( |

To me I dont think that the main lead went with the 3/4 structure it was layerd with. Would definitly sound better in a 4/4 structure in my opinion. Just my opinion, I tend to look for stuff different when listening to productions.
Yet I understand why everyone likes it and why there were those who didnt. It doesnt really hit that spot like it should.

Just to point out that another really great break-trance track is:
Lightforce - Join Me (Dave London Mix)
definitely check that one out!
I actually have the vinyl at home and can rip the MP3 for you when I get home, let me know if you want it |

You use great harmonies with the strings and the sythns. It's great.
The beats are Ok. Not perfect but not bad either. It sounds great with the song, but I think it's a bit too basic.
Excellent sounds and samples. Did you designed al of the samples yourself??? Very good work my friend. :gsmile:
( It's very cool to hear some sythns in your song which are almost identical to my own sythns I designed with Reason :D )
Great work with using some form of stereo. It makes the sythns in combination with the excellently "tuned" delay(s) sound terrific.
I don't like the fade away of the first melody of the sythns.
You really use alot of FX through out your song. I'm very impressed. ( I don't use FX alot myself so it's nice to hear your song with alot of FX ).
I read it took you only 5 hours to make this track . What do you mean by that? Did you write this song in 5 hours?? :eyes:
By listening to this song, I think you have the skills the write great trance songs. Maybe even proffesional songs in the futur ;) |

Yep... written, composed and arranged in 5 hours. You see, my methods of working are kind of intense... once I get an idea (which is not often :P ) I have to get it all down on once. If I let the track rest and come back to it later I have most likely lost my inspiration/train of thought... |

| I've started a remix, by the way. It won't be any good, but... I've started. |
