Anyhow i loved the original so i couldnt resist having a go at remixing it. Most of the melodies and whatnot are by freakazoid...
any ideas/comments would be great.

I can't really find anything to fault from it but that's about it. It sounds "generic" somehow, it doesn't really have a memorable hook or anything that would make it stand out.
Also, the percs definitely need more variation.
It's a good effort esp. if you haven't done any chillout before and it's certainly not a bad track. |

cheers i havent listened to much chillout. Mabye five songs and they were nothing like this heh.

| i like the beats. some of the chord progressions are a bit off though. some stuff sounds kinda out of key, at least in the guitar kinda sounding deal. i think this track would sound really awesome with some major panning in the percussion and effects. |

i like this man
chillout is another style that i really love to listen to from time to time.
other than some of the melodies sounding a bit off.
i liked this alot, really nice and chilled.

makes a change to hear some chill out on here
you got some nice atmosphere in there!
thats a big plus when doing chill out stuff!
maybe a little variation in the percs, like some panning of some sort
nice lead sounding thing! fits well IMO
maybe some very slight vocals, i reckon this would add to the track
overall good track
just some tweaking needed ;) |
