Supposedly it's a Perfecto vinyl released in 98 that features:
A1. Mansun "Wide Open Space" (Perfecto Mix)
A2. BT "Fibonacci Sequence"
B1. The Dream Traveller "Time" (Original Mix)
B2. BT vs. Paul van Dyk "Namistai"
Now to my understanding Namistai was unreleased, and is only available as a white promo printed without a label (Discogs says the same thing). Discogs also says that Fibonacci Sequence was only ever released once, by itself, on the Headspace label. Both are very rare.
The guy hosting the auction says it's not a bootleg and that Perfecto is etched into the vinyl, but I can't believe him.
Any expert opinions? |

Not real (I don't think....)
Namistai was not exlusive to a promo release however.
I have a vinyl from vandit with namistai, tell me why, and love from above on it; Made back in the days when vandit made good quality records. :stongue:
Out there and Back also has Namistai, as does a vinyl album of BT (not sure which). |

| I just wrote him an e-mail saying I'll be telling the winner's of all the auctions not to pay him. I'll just give them the discogs links showing that Namistai and Fibonacci Sequence were only ever printed separately. |

| If someone is willing to register a fake e-bay account and win every auction (with no intent to pay), that'd be awesome. |

or how about just leaving it?
I mean the artists who made these tracks obviously don't like making any money - or they would have had larger pressings. If they didn't want people to pirate their music they should have made sure than anyone who wanted to buy it could.
So why not just let him sell these bootleg vinyls? Unless of course there arent even any vinyls and this is a scam or something. |

| I wouldn't care if he MARKETED IT AS A BOOTLEG. He's leading people to believe that the vinyl is an OFFICIAL Perfecto pressing, which is bull. |

good point, but littel flaw, pvd, obviously a greedy only to play his in his sets, doesnt need to make money from record sales, he has those high pay gigs, he probably doesnt have to release another record in his life. and what was the in deal with nby, releasing garbage versions |

The Namistai on the OTAB album is PvD's own version. It is different from the BT vs PvD version. However, u can find the BT vs PvD version on a very ltd Promo release, or on one of J00F's EP's. |
