Mmmmm, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Lost Obliviosn. Makes me drool....yeah, it's graphics...WOW. But I've seen both up front, and HL2 just looks more impressive. :) |

FOOLS! if you were anticipating the first half life as much as i was, you'd remember that it was supposed to come out october 1997, instead came out in november 1998.
Also, where has tf 2 gone? Nobody knows... Its just valves way of building hype i suppose :D |

which game do you think is better quality graphics?? HL2 or Doom3?
which game should get more hype??
and finally.... which do you think will be released first???
I've got all my money on HL2 when is comes to graphical quality, engine ability, and gameplay value.
However, I've got a hunch that Doom3 will release before HL2. |

| HL2 is not delay. it is comming out when the radeon9900pro comes out. it is bundle with it and best to play on the radeon 9700-9900. if u bought a nvidia card for this game u got rip off. :eek: |

heh.. I'm planning on a 256 M 9800 pro.. just waiting for the 9900 to get released so as to get a price drop on a 9800

Also, nice thing is I got a mobo upgrade about 3 or 4 months after I purchased my current one that will make it up to xp2800+ compatible, whereas when I first got it it was only 2200+
So I'm pretty much set when the games come out, just waiting a few more months for price drops as mentioned.
Personally, I think DOOM3 will have more moodiness to it, but overall HL2 will be more impressive. As to which one will have more licensing to outside developers though, I give id the nod. HL2 will certainly be more immersive though.
side note : I am really really interested to learn more about S.T.A.L.K.E.R. though, could be the dark horse to upset a lot of upcoming fps games |
