Oakenfold is not even in the same league, while he may be decent, he cannot even come close to comparing with pvd in live performances, oakenfold's live performances tend to be good because of the name, and people get excited over the name. "Oooh it's paul oakenfold!!!" Give me a break, and listen to the music.

I like both of their work...yes being a bit neutral here...but they are both very talented and have done a number of things for this genre of music...so I cast one vote for each. |

| 2 years ago i might've said Oakie. Now it seems like everything i hear from Oakie is a respin of Another World and Traveling. EVERY MIX, from Sputnik Intesiv Station to the recent mix up on DJ mixes 2k, is the same stuff. Every PvD mix i hear is always different, i have about 5-10 sets of each give or take. Everything from Oakie past his essential mix world tour is the same, PvD is still going strong putting out more and more hard hitting trance always pleasing to my ears. Jokenfold of today isnt half as good as PvD, no wonder PvD was named Mix Mags man of the year last year. |

Yes, although Oakie plays alot of the same trax in his sets, at least his sets go alittle deep and he's not playing alot of commercial crap like darude trax and madonna.... but hey, as a producer, Dyk kicks Oakie's ass! |

| I will choose PvD thank you. By far, oakey may never have been better than PvD. Maybe back in the late 90's when he was doing his essential mix tour.:D |
