ING AWESOME GAME!!!!

For once I happen to agree with you. I used to play this game quite a bit, there is a lot more to this game than its predecessor Shogun.

The actual combat is very well balanced and morale is really important.

The only flaw is the alliances, when you ally with someone it has no meaning, you dont get any real substantial benefit and they could turn and attack you without justification.

If they could make a game with a really smart diplomatic system (Alpha Centauri was a good start) that would be impressive.

hate to bump this thread up...but it beats starting a new thread and having people berate you for not searching for your answer.

anyway, this game rocks! being the loser that i am, i only play with the cheat codes. however, i tried to use the code to unlock all the buildings and units and it won't let me build some units that are really sweet (like knights of santiago et al.). do i have to wait until a certain year in order to make these awesome units? i downloaded the patch a while back, maybe i should uninstall and reinstall without the patch? anyway...just curios if anyone knows. i've looked over the web to see why i can't build these units, but i can't find ....its all just lists of the actual codes.

^You are a loser. What's the point of cheating? It just ruins the game.

Anyways, I love M:TW.

Lots of hours wasted trying to hold back the Mongol Horde.

If M:TW had EU2 or Moo2 type of diplomatic system, it would be the cat's ass.

i may be a loser, but you're canadian. haha. i know cheating is the "loser's" way out, but , i like it. there's nothing like building up a massive army and annihilating your enemies. you should try it sometime b/c its a nice break from worrying about so much.
