No its not an invasion of privacy, the agreement you sign or click on when you sign up probably without reading limits your expectations of privacy.
And as I said in another thread theres too many of these damn threads. And I really dont understand how people can hate a group so much for taking legal action to protect there legal intrests. |

| ^Well to start, the fines and whatnot are totally dispicable. $750 per song is outrageous! Anyway, it's also very unpopular, especially here, because we all have mp3s that chances are we got using programs like DC++, Soulseek, Kazaa, etc. Millions of people use these services, hence why so many people talk about it. |

Actually they can go as high as $150,000 per copyright violation. Thus if you had a couple thousand songs...the lawsuit ends up totalling trillions of dollars. And they've been filed. They hit up a university student for 97 trillion earlier this year. Of course they settled for less. But they filed the max...ROFL
