Don't even get me started...s. I had put over 2000 UNCOPYRIGHTED songs that I had downloaded from those underground music sites, and they actually sent me a ing IM telling me to take them down. What the hell...it wasn't even copyrighted music...DIE ******S DIE, BURN IN HELL YOU ING S, BURN IN ING HELL.

No its not an invasion of privacy, the agreement you sign or click on when you sign up probably without reading limits your expectations of privacy.

And as I said in another thread theres too many of these damn threads. And I really dont understand how people can hate a group so much for taking legal action to protect there legal intrests.

^Well to start, the fines and whatnot are totally dispicable. $750 per song is outrageous! Anyway, it's also very unpopular, especially here, because we all have mp3s that chances are we got using programs like DC++, Soulseek, Kazaa, etc. Millions of people use these services, hence why so many people talk about it.

Actually they can go as high as $150,000 per copyright violation. Thus if you had a couple thousand songs...the lawsuit ends up totalling trillions of dollars. And they've been filed. They hit up a university student for 97 trillion earlier this year. Of course they settled for less. But they filed the max...ROFL
