Mate I think you'll get at least 10 definitions... Trance is so different: progressive, epic/uplifting, techtrance, psy etc...

Ok!
I need a definition being both broad and specific for 'Trance' in a musical sense.
I love trance myself but others are arguing that their is no difference between it and techno for example!!!
Please help!
