This just in:
BRITNEY SPEARS and boyfriend JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE from 'NSYNC are planning a joint takeover of the pop universe.
NME.COM can reveal that the couple are planning to move away from teen pop towards an older market and they are also set to collaborate musically on Britney 's new album. The as-yet-untitled album is due out in the autumn and, if their plan works, it will make them the unassailable king and queen of pop.
Dance producer BT was recently drafted in by Justin Timberlake to help 'NSync ditch their boy band image on new album 'Celebrity'. The first single 'Pop' is a marked change in direction, with Justin commenting that he was inspired by the sound of UK garage.
Speaking exclusively to NME.COM, BT said: "I don't want to become the electronic guy who made a bunch of boy bands cool. But Britney's dating Justin from 'NSync, they're cool people and I like their vibe. She wants to do something a lot more cutting edge and I agreed to do it."

Okay, if you want to know how I feel about it, you only have to read about the other thread that was created about BT.
This just compounds my new-found disrespect for BT: he's trying to make pop acceptable again, and you can only wonder what the hell is going through his head right now.... |

The man should colaborate with good trance artists like PvD, Tisto etc. in stead. Just listen to Namistai, to get an idea. Wicked tune that one:)

| Although I don't like the idea of BT producing these songs because I'm sick of pop music all together, u don't know what the man had planned to do. He might just be using this to get his name out there to the American audience. Once that happens they'll look for his stuff which is much better than this pop . |

| Since when did pop become so damn evil? Now everyone's lost all respect for BT because he's produced for N'SYNC? Be realistic. If you had the opportunity for your sound to be heard by millions of people and get the recognition you finally deserved for being so talented and unique, would you go for it? I do't think anyone here can honestly say that they wouldn't. Give the guy a break. He's talented, and no one can deny that. He has a fresh, unique sound, and he wants the world to hear it. It doesn't mean that he's selling out. I still have no idea why everyone hates pop music so much. It's called "popular music" because a lot of people like it. |
